I LOVE Family Style weddings! They remind me of family reunions, church picnics, family and fellowship. Sarah and James’ beautiful Friday evening wedding was no exception! They brought family from England, Iowa and everywhere in between and gathered them all together for an amazing and FUN wedding reception.
The couple chose a mix of English and American favorites: Pulled pork sliders, Cucumber sandwiches and Southern
coleslaw in mini mason jars started off the evening by the pool.
and Carved Roast Beef with Mushroom and onion Brown Gravy, Bowls of Crispy Roasted Potatoes, Haricot Verts with lemon and butter and Southern Yeast rolls and butter.
They decided on mini desserts of Eton mess in mason jars, Mini key lime pies with whipped cream and lime zest– My goodness, Eton mess is like heaven on a spoon! Meringues, whipped cream, raspberries and raspberry coulis…. YUM!
The lovely bride made her OWN Wedding cake!! I was blown away by how beautiful and DELICIOUS it was!
