This couple and their wedding was absolutely one of the most FUN events I have ever been a part of! Monica and Patrick wanted to have their friends and family (from Brooklyn, Scotland and everywhere in between) to be completely immersed in NASHVILLE for their big day. They celebrated with Monica’s family recipes, Nashville’s famous tastes and Dolly Parton! We had a blast with the historic venue of Traveler’s Rest as lovely back drop.
The evening began with mini bottles of champagne and Las Paletas popsicles, a tribute recipe of Monica’s moms famous Dill Dip with Veggies, Morris Hollow all natural beef sliders and Southern Bruschetta with Pimento cheese made from Hoffman’s super sharp cheese just like Monica remembered from her childhood.
The details like the beautiful multi colored runner and gold table details and beautiful summer arrangements made the open and airy room look amazing!
The guests enjoyed Spring greens salad with berries and goat cheese, Carved Beef Tenderloin, Hot Chicken from Hattie B’s, Tortellini pasta, Garlic mashed potatoes, Haricot Verts, Biscuits and Honey, Cornbread and Sweet Tea, Minted Lemonade and Cucumber water.
After dinner everyone enjoyed heartfelt speeches, hugs and lots of dancing!! As the night progressed, everyone munched on cookies from Dozen and custom flavored Malt balls. But the party didn’t stop there– in came ” Dolly” !
This definitely was one of the best weddings and parties in TOWN!! I was thrilled to get to know Monica and Patrick and was so very honored to get to be a part of their amazing wedding!! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Conlon!
